Construction System

In this diagram we can follow the construction process, which ultimately aims at being low-tech, since each quad element of the module fits in a 1.5m cube. The steps of the fabrication process, which is of freeform shotcrete onto a fabric formwork, is

  1. Setting the metal shuttering with the telescopic system to the dimensions and shape desired
  2. Apply the geotextile to the shuttering system
  3. Apply shot concrete onto the shuttering system, whose weight is supported by cables sideways
  4. Remove the pieces from the joints and join them with a joint with added stoppers
  5. Apply top layers of fabric to the element to render elements inhabitable
  6. Join all the quad element to make the module
