Geometric Zoning – Constructing the simulation
The first test of a base construct came as a necessity to test out how negative volumes could be visualized. For this task not
only did the logic to the construction need to be clear and simple (symmetry and repetition), but there had to be enough density
in the complex for the volumes to be noticeable – as per the rules set out previously.
With this in mind this base construct was composed from layers of elements and surfaces on two levels – different from each
other – to provide a more rich experience when circulating through the complex.
