Scenarios

While reading Seven Lamps of Architecture by John Ruskin he talks about how ornamentation shouldn’t be used in space of a serious occupation or time sensitive areas where he explains this idea with Paddington Station as an example. Exploring the building system in two common everyday scenarios of one private and one is public, a space of efficiency, transportation. One as a train station and the other as a low cost multi functional living. A place like a train station might become a forrest and a place where we live the window that we look out everyday is a jungle of complex detailing while it still allows everyday life to be carried out.
