Spaces: Master Plan

Master Plan Development

These diagrams demonstrate the process of the structural evolvement of the master plan through the use of octagonal geometric shapes, underlying grid systems and visual corridors.

Master Plan Upper Floor: This is the simplest version of the Master Plan which explores a combination of multiple types of visual corridors created through distorted perspectives, overlapping of walls and frames, and instant obstacle such as columns.

Master Plan Ground Floor: The main entrance is located on the ground floor with two opposing openings that lead to the central access of the staircase through two narrow corridors. Being exposed to instant visual corridors provided by the halls, obstacles created by the columns around the centre and the central lighting coming from the glass dome give a sense to the viewers of what is waiting for them on the main space.
