Pneumatic Structural Elements
The above elements explore how the air-beam technology can be used in production of long, closed and mobile structural elements.
The second set of elements explores the possibility of using Tensairity beam principles and applying them to arch shaped , straight, and torus elements. The only difference would be that the tension elements would be steel cables instead of steel rods, allowing the elements to be deployed and transported.
For the final set of inflatable elements I have used Drop Stitch technology as well as the principle of isolated air chambers. This structural elements are the lightest out of all the proposed above approaches, so could be used when the structure gains significant amount of layers (weight).
