Building System Fabrication
The stereotomic building system is fabricated in three different methods, each dependent on each other.
Method 1: CNC Milling
The first step is to create a positive element from which to derive the other material versions. Through CNC milling, one can use various types of material, ranging in weight and density.
Method 2: Casting
From the positive element, a mould can be produced in order to use cast materials, such as plastics or glass.
Method 3: Sheet pressing
To facilitate elements that can be hollow as to incorporate fillings of varying sorts, the positive element can be used as a form template for pressing sheet materials onto it. Materials used can be metallic in nature, but structural plastics such as FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic) can be utilised.
